I will be gone for a little while, then. I also have just installed Ubuntu 9 side by side with MS Windows, but I'm contemplating making Ubuntu my main OS for this computer.

I use linux as my primary OS, but I also use "Sun VirtualBox" to run all of my Windows software in a virtual machine. VirtualBox has a mode that allows a mixture of "virtual windows" and native OS windows that make it feel a lot like you're running your MS software in Linux. I have to do this because most of the $$$ work I do is with Visual Studio.Net, and WINE doesn't support those products. I am becoming a big fan of virtual machines.
